What it means
This sign means stopping is absolutely prohibited 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unlike a waiting restriction (where you can stop briefly to drop off), a no-stopping sign means the vehicle must keep moving. Used on red routes and clearways. Even licensed taxis may not stop unless the sign specifically permits it.
