Pay at the machine, then display the ticket on your dashboard for the time you've paid for.
What it means
Pay at the nearby machine (or via the phone app shown), then put the ticket clearly on your dashboard. Maximum stay and 'no return' periods are usually shown. 'No return within 1 hour' means once your ticket expires you must move and not return to the same bay for at least 1 hour. Outside the displayed times parking is usually free.
